Vintage 1961 Coleman Tall Bighat 228E Double mantel camping Lantern 12/61

Here is a vintage Coleman Lantern Model 228E double mantle green tall Bighat (big hat) camping lantern. This lantern is bottom dated 12 61 for December 1961. 
Condition: Cosmetically this lantern is clean and in good overall condition for being 59 years old. The vent is the high-top (hightop) style and is in great condition only a small chip on the top and minimal wear was even found, see photos. The globe is in excellent condition no chips or cracks with the original red Pyrex lettering. The burner frame is clean has some minor pitting but has cleaned up nicely. The fount is nice no dents or dings were found and the paint is in good condition with some minor paint loss. The Coleman decal is in great condition very little wear, see picture. Overall, this is a nice looking vintage lantern. These lanterns getting harder and harder to find in decent cosmetic and working condition. Every part is original and unmodified unless stated otherwise.
This lantern has been tested and works great clean burning, see pictures. Both valve and tip cleaner turn freely. Lantern does pump and hold pressure. A new fuel cap gasket has been installed. Nice lantern for use or collection. The mantles are new and works great however I can't guarantee the shipping won't cause it to crumble or fall apart. They are so fragile after the burn off has been done. Pictures are taken before testing so any soot or discoloring from the test firing maybe present.
